Nature in the municipality
With the ‘Nature in the municipality’ project, we want to increase biodiversity in Salzburg’s municipalities and give green spaces a new lease of life with colourful wildflowers.
We also raise awareness of the importance of preserving and creating habitats for native animals and plants. We offer professional support in the correct planting of new flower meadows, the selection of site-appropriate seeds and the biodiversity-promoting maintenance of colourful meadows.
Maintaining quality of life together
Every municipality has areas that can be transformed into a true flowering paradise, wild corner or hedgerow habitat. This requires specialist knowledge, a good plan and communication with the local population. We advise you on your way to becoming a nature community: we support you in the selection of areas, plan the redesign and maintenance together and advise you on various topics relating to biodiversity (selection of plants, species protection, creation of structurally rich habitats). Information material is also provided for your municipality and for the general public.
